Hello Everyone!

Hi guys. I’m a new author for this Splicepoint page! Let me introduce myself briefly.

My name is Brett. If you ever checked out my old video game blog (Whodatgames), then you know a bit about me. I have been playing video games my entire life, and I love everything about the video game industry. I find it all fascinating.

Favorite game: Chrono Trigger
Currently playing: Mass Effect 2 (replaying, to be more accurate)
Last game that I beat: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Preferred Console: Anything Nintendo

My goal is to write several articles talking about older games, current games, and future games. Comparisons, maybe a few reviews. We’ll see how it goes. Anything that I find interesting, I’ll throw it up here.

I’m going to leave you all with this one awesome clip: While a guy plays Mega Man 2 as quickly as possible (and he’s really good), a band accompanies him with the music. The video is 45 minutes long, so I understand if you don’t want to watch it all, but if you do, it’s pretty amazing. It makes me want to play Mega Man 2 all over again. Enjoy!

What? Splicepoint is evolving!

Splicepoint Fans,

On behalf of the Splicepoint Team I want to apologize for our absence. You don’t need reminding that we haven’t produced any new content for a while. However, you do need reminding that we care about our viewers and fans (because we do!)

I would like to take this opportunity to announce a large transition that is occurring at Splicepoint. Traditionally, Splicepoint was a short film group led by Jack Benage and new content created and published typically arose through the collaborative efforts of those who star in the short films. Therein lies in the dilemma. Very soon, the individuals that have made the videos that we all have come to enjoy will be parting ways and, therefore, in order for Splicepoint to continue to exist, change must occur.

Who gave it a damn Thunderstone? Now it'll never learn Thunderbolt!

And we're not pressing B.

Beginning soon, Splicepoint will transition from focusing on filmmaking to focusing on video game reviews and news as well as discuss relevant Internet trends and memes. There are certainly a lot of blogs out there that aim to do the same thing that we are setting out to do. However, through the collective efforts of those here at Splicepoint, we hope to set ourselves apart through objective reviews, interesting video footage and high quality presentation.

We hope you will continue to give us your support as well as give us a chance to win back your attention.

In the upcoming weeks we plan to introduce you to our objective reviewing system and review Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Gears of War 3, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as well as bring you our first impressions, screenshots and gameplay footage of our beta test of Star Wars: The Old Republic.

If you have a game in mind that you’d like to see us keep an eye on or review, let us know!

Splice on,
-Jack
